Accommodation Madness: Mega Bitches Bringing Chaos

Yo, wazzup. It's so hot in here and everyone's all gross and sweaty. Early signs of summer for the ones at the Northern hemisphere but it's always been summer in tropical countries. Well, title says it all, I wonder what you guys think about when you see the title. Hmm, figures... XD

Yeah, I've been busy lately. I still wanna take some time to talk about my hostel life. Apparently it seems fine, but once you get to know it, there are a few things I'd like to complain about my hostel life.

1. Alarm clocks:
You must be wondering why that could be an issue. I guess if you stayed in university and college residences, you find it as a "thing" too. I'm fine with students setting up alarms but what the hell is with setting the alarm 1 hour earlier so that you can let it ring out from more than 1 hour? Seriously. You hear the alarm at 7am and then you take a shower, make yourself a drink, do your normal business and by the time it's 8am, the alarm is still ringing and that big ol' student is still snoring. Sometimes I wished I could bang the door and hurl an alarm clock to his face to shut him & the alarm up.

2. Weird noises:
I guess a number of my friends know what I'm saying. I've been hearing strange noises coming out from one of the room near my room. It sounds like some person sharpening his knife with the window pane or something. Sometimes it sounds like rats squeaking in a cage and I wonder why students are allowed to rear pets like that in their room. If I was allowed to rear pets I'd bring my pug here. The eeriest sound I ever heard was nails or claws scratching on glass window panes. Super creepy.

3. Wet toilet seats:
This is the worst thing I like to say about the hostel residents. I really don't know why they ALWAYS have to wet the toilet seats. It's extremely troublesome that I have to use my tissues to wipe the seat before I can do my business. Worst is, I don't even know whether that water is clean or not by my assumption is based on the thinking of the norm. Anything that comes out of the toilet is never hygienic. I assume those sprayers beside the toilet seat explains it.

I know this is a little offensive but seriously, these are offenses to me and these act has been driving me crazy. Like my neighbour who keeps staring at me whenever I walk out of my room. He looked at me all, "Here comes the Asian again, wonder if he knows I'm into the other guy next to his room?". Gosh, there's too much to say. Story of my life. Sometimes I think I reveal a little too much about my personal details on the internet but then again, who cares?

Just to stop giving you guys nightmares of my mundane life I guess it's time to stop. I promise the next blog will be about something happy, something funny. I'll work it out. To you guys who think my blog is all about complaints and you're not happy with it, read the title again, it's Rant and Randomness not Jokes and Things That You Like. Sorry, no offense.

Thus, be well, be safe, eat fruit and remember, wearing red spandex doesn't bring you luck, it just gives you a taste of what the bull's horn is like. Bye! =P

PS: About my neighbour, he's not really into that guy, I'm just saying what his expression is like. =P

Love is Blind-ing

Hi, so apparently I have to say that couples these days aren't as conservative and old-fashioned as before. You don't need a 5-star restaurant to dine and date. All you need is place with free flow drinks. =)

I will tell you why a restaurant with free flow drinks is one of the best place to dine. 1, you save loads of money on drinks rather than buying cups of Starbucks coffee. 2, you have the reason to dine there as long as you want cause you can always say you haven't finish your drinks. 3, your lover won't mind as long as you tell her the first two reasons. XD

Well, yes, those place are best for dating but mind you, places like that will always have a constant flow of customers. As one customer leaves, the next one will take their place. I myself experienced such a thing at Ikea Restaurant last weekend. Me and my family was having half of a table due to the crowded restaurant which makes it hard to get seats. So we have no choice but to share a table with a couple.

As I've expected, this couple is the smart couple I described as above. Going all lovey dovey without bothering how it makes others feel awkward. I am okay with awkward but I can't stand it when they just don't understand how this restaurant business is going. You might say maybe they're just too busy with the cuddling, whispering and giggling but to me, there's a nice theory to explain this situation.

We always hear people say, "Love is blind.". Same goes to this, love is blinding that you can't notice what the hell is going on around you, love is blinding that you don't realize there's a toddler right next to you staring at how you snog, love is blinding that you don't know that your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend is right at the back stalking you and waiting for revenge, love is blinding that you don't know people need a spot to dine. Love is blinding, and that's the new excuse I help them come up with.

I don't know why I am helping them though I feel annoyed by this, but this seems to be the most rationale explanation. I guess maybe when I get a date, I might get to use this excuse as well. XD

Sorry guys, I know the Facebook status has already stated the gist of this post, but I really am having a writers block this week and this is the best I can come up with. Maybe next time, I will say less, and blog more. I sincerely apologize to my fellow readers that I may be blogging less frequently cause I am starting Pre-U soon. I will still allocate time to do this now and then and I hope you guys can rate my blogs so that I know how this goes on. Thanks for reading and goodbye till the next post.

Be well, be safe, eat fruit and remember, beware of ants and bugs when your love gets too sweet.
  Have fun everyone. =)

Pointless....

Hey guys, I'm pretty lazy to type the Episode thingy so you go figure what kind of post I'm writing. Don't worry, still rants and randomness. Nothing changed.
So sometimes I just wondered why do I have so many friends on Facebook. Don't get me wrong having friends isn't a bad thing but my social life doesn't qualify me to get more than 200 friends, I mean, seriously. Okay, so from your DOB till 18 years old, lets say you meet a new person everyday. You might not be friends with them at first sight or not you might have to do the math for counting the friends you have. The ratio for getting friends at first sight is 1:1000, Try figure the ratio of love at first sight. LOL. Seriously, sometimes it's just weird to see people that you don't know on FB to be on your friends list. It seems bad to just block them cause you were the one who accepted them in the first place. 2, it's like a good thing to show others that you have tonnes of friends in FB though you have none in real life. Pfft, story of the Internet but still no one gets it.
Speaking of FB friends, it seems that research has proven that Malaysia, which is my country has the highest number of friends in almost every social network available in the country. FB crowns the others with an average of 300 friends per account. Some people here even have 3 accounts cause the maximum friends you can accept is 4000 for FB. Back to the days of Friendster was pretty much the same, but have we ever thought what's the point of all this numbers? Why bother setting a record of being the person with most friends when no one actually cares? You don't even talk to them. Sometimes lots of your friends post has been filtered to the ones you view the most and that's like only 50 of them, so what are the other friends for?
I don't know about people these days but FB is on full-stalker-mode and people seem to ignore the warnings since FB started. I started on year 2006 and that was because I was into Pet Society. Now all those games are just memories that I couldn't care to remember. It's like colored bars on the TV screen, insignificant. But hey, sometimes I do try to be friends with popular people on the net especially Youtube personals. Thank God they now switch to fan pages for people to "Like" which makes life so much easier. That's out of the topic. What I want to say is, FB is so open that sometimes it's just dangerous to upload almost everything about you on it. Some people are silly enough to put their true address on FB and have you ever thought that within that 1000 over friends you have there, some of them might have ulterior motives? It's like Foursquare which is fully useful for stalkers. All they need to do is just search for your profile name and BAM, they got ya without even asking ASL. Yeah, people say they have privacy settings, but how much can you trust the sites on keeping your info safe?
Speaking of privacy settings, some people really go OTT when it comes to this. They have a FB account, they know it's dangerous so they set everything to the maximum level ends up friends of that person on FB is almost same as a person who isn't a friend cause nothing can be seen. Yes, it is dangerous to leak everything, but it is pointless to cover everything. If you were to cover up your every detail, why bother opening an FB (or any social network) account? LOL
I hope someone who has almost 1000 or more friends on FB think properly, do you know any of them? Do you think friends of friends must be considered as your friend cause you just want to please your friend? Moreover, do you find it proud to know crappy people just to fill up your numbers so that you're ranked the highest number of friends person on FB? Let me just remind you,
Hello, this is just the Internet, get a life out there if you want friends....
Yeah, might be clearing up my page soon. Will modify my privacy settings too but not OTT. Moderation is a virtue, people. Get it right...

Episode 2: Stupid Questions

This topic has already been discussed a lot of times but still there are people who ask stupid questions. Reenactment of a scene would be like this:
" One day you're eating at a restaurant with your family. Not long after that an old friend saw you and come up to you to say "Hi". Right after the greet they would probably try to start a topic. While you are eating, they could blurt out a question like: Hey, are you eating right now? "
Excuse me, can't you see we are chewing our food at the moment. What should we do at a restaurant? Piss and talk crap? Seriously....
When we are young, our teachers try to use ways to motivate us to ask questions when we have doubts. The popular saying of that kind of situation would be : "Hey students, you can ask anything cause there's no such thing as STUPID QUESTIONS!"
Yeah right, what if someone run up to you and ask: "Hey, can we walk to the moon?" or " Can you show us the way to drive to the sun?"
I mean, obviously if you think with an optimistic mind, you would think he's joking but what if you're in a bad mood? Most probably you would say he's crazy or demented. I really don't know about people these days but I think it would great if they stop using that statement. Or maybe that statement only claims for children below 6 cause we need their imagination for inspirations right? XD
That ends today's rant. I don't know how long I can do this but I try to make it daily till I am in college. Which brings me to this, I'm kinda nervous cause my SPM results are coming out next week. I really don't know whether I did enough to get a good grade cause I really hope to help reduce my parents burden with those grades and apply for scholarship. So I am crossing fingers on that matter. Ok blog, time to sign off. Be good, be safe and be well till I return. =)

Rant Site?

Hey blog, it's been a while. I wonder whether I should post rants here cause I think ranting on a blog is somewhat a great idea. You can actually say anything you want and you don't need to care whether anyone reads it, yeah?
Which brings me to this, Rant Site Episode 1: The Treat
Ever heard of such situations? Let's say you got promoted in your company as some executive and everyone congratulates you. Somehow, someone will be daring and ignorant enough to ask this : Hey, shouldn't you treat us lunch or something?
Annoying right? It usually happens but this scene isn't that bad. The scene can go worse if it goes like this.
You got straight A's for your test and people will say: Hey, you should treat us for lunch/dinner you know?
Hey, in my opinion, shouldn't you be treating me. I worked my ass for that kind of result and you ask me give you a treat?
Seriously, these guys are nuts. You worked hard to get it, they should be the one to congratulating you with a party or something for you and not you treating them from your wallet. I wonder whether this issue only happens on Asians cause as far as I know, Asians are the one who usually ask such stupid questions.
Speaking of stupid questions. My next topic will be about that issue. Have a nice day people.
