Imaginations far from Reality...

Yo, I guess I haven't stepped in here for a long long time. Straight to the point, I'm here to warn you that I'm pre-random here, not going to know what I will post after this. XD

I've been travelling a lot lately to the great city of KL to visit some friend(s) and I have been watching quite a number of movies lately. This is a tribute to the movies I watched. =P

Movies are always a part of our life. Rarely do we see people who never watched movies in their life cause they will be categorized into the "no-life society". Like my blog, I'm always random when it comes to choice of movies. May it be a chick-lit/romance movie, horror movie, comedies, thrillers and out of the norm stuff. I would like to watch any of them. Funny thing is, whenever I come to those movies that have people that can do cool stuff such as Harry Potter dealing with magic, Inception where people fool themselves with dreams or even X-Men with abnormal mutant powers. It sometimes makes me think how would it be like if it were real...

For once, think of it as if Hogwarts was real. You were to be admitted as some kind of half-blood into that bloody gorgeous campus and learning stuff that you never dreamed of. I categorize it this way; Herbology = Biology, Potions = Chemistry and Arithmancy is well, arithmancy! You get the deal. Having wands and all kind of wizardry goods. It's fun and yet I find lots of funny ways of dealing with magic. Like to sabotage someone who's about to take a test in a few hours time and you go Obliviate (Memory Charm) everything they learn and wipe them out. That is MEAN! No doubt, it's still fun. You can also use Accio  (Summoning Charm) if it allows you to summon a person without their knowledge and see that person get dragged by magic in the funniest way towards you just for you to say "Hi!" before you send them back. Their faces will be EPIC! XP

Though I wonder, if there's only one choice, should we choose Technology or Magic? Guess only you know the deal. =D

Talk about Inception goes the same thing as Obliviate but with those "kick"s theory and stuff, it's more mortal like as you need to play with physics in that game but X-Men never fails to make me imagine the most. I can say X-Men to me is more on Technology and Genetics where Harry Potter is Magic and Genetics. So it makes a nice comparison for me to imagine about both movies. XD

Sometimes I wish I have extreme telekinetic powers up to molecular level (such as Jean Grey/Phoenix), how awesome would that be? Disintegrating people or objects into dust whenever they offend you too much or maybe reform stuff from the dust you just disintegrated. When this thought comes in I sort of get intimidated. If telekinetic were to be possible, that means telepathy is possible too. At some point I have a fear that when I'm in a crowd there might be some telepath around me that might be able to read my mind. I just go think "Go eff someone else's mind, I got private stuff to think about!". Then when I observe that no one feels offended, I will think "Phew, coast is clear...".

Haha, so yeah, timid me, thinking about nonsense like those. If you think of it, it might be much different from your perspective cause mine is always filled with randomness and fun. XD

Story of my life, briefly said. My Uni life hasn't been the best but I have no complaints about it. I rather miss home now and then and nothing can actually fill up the space where my family used to fill it in my heart. Thanks for holding up till now though this is slightly lengthy and might not be as interesting as it could/should be.

Nevertheless, I wish everyone all the best, be well, be safe, and remember, a home is home, where nobody gets left behind or forgotten, so do not forget about your home is no matter how far you are away from it. =)

Accommodation Madness: Mega Bitches Bringing Chaos

Yo, wazzup. It's so hot in here and everyone's all gross and sweaty. Early signs of summer for the ones at the Northern hemisphere but it's always been summer in tropical countries. Well, title says it all, I wonder what you guys think about when you see the title. Hmm, figures... XD

Yeah, I've been busy lately. I still wanna take some time to talk about my hostel life. Apparently it seems fine, but once you get to know it, there are a few things I'd like to complain about my hostel life.

1. Alarm clocks:
You must be wondering why that could be an issue. I guess if you stayed in university and college residences, you find it as a "thing" too. I'm fine with students setting up alarms but what the hell is with setting the alarm 1 hour earlier so that you can let it ring out from more than 1 hour? Seriously. You hear the alarm at 7am and then you take a shower, make yourself a drink, do your normal business and by the time it's 8am, the alarm is still ringing and that big ol' student is still snoring. Sometimes I wished I could bang the door and hurl an alarm clock to his face to shut him & the alarm up.

2. Weird noises:
I guess a number of my friends know what I'm saying. I've been hearing strange noises coming out from one of the room near my room. It sounds like some person sharpening his knife with the window pane or something. Sometimes it sounds like rats squeaking in a cage and I wonder why students are allowed to rear pets like that in their room. If I was allowed to rear pets I'd bring my pug here. The eeriest sound I ever heard was nails or claws scratching on glass window panes. Super creepy.

3. Wet toilet seats:
This is the worst thing I like to say about the hostel residents. I really don't know why they ALWAYS have to wet the toilet seats. It's extremely troublesome that I have to use my tissues to wipe the seat before I can do my business. Worst is, I don't even know whether that water is clean or not by my assumption is based on the thinking of the norm. Anything that comes out of the toilet is never hygienic. I assume those sprayers beside the toilet seat explains it.

I know this is a little offensive but seriously, these are offenses to me and these act has been driving me crazy. Like my neighbour who keeps staring at me whenever I walk out of my room. He looked at me all, "Here comes the Asian again, wonder if he knows I'm into the other guy next to his room?". Gosh, there's too much to say. Story of my life. Sometimes I think I reveal a little too much about my personal details on the internet but then again, who cares?

Just to stop giving you guys nightmares of my mundane life I guess it's time to stop. I promise the next blog will be about something happy, something funny. I'll work it out. To you guys who think my blog is all about complaints and you're not happy with it, read the title again, it's Rant and Randomness not Jokes and Things That You Like. Sorry, no offense.

Thus, be well, be safe, eat fruit and remember, wearing red spandex doesn't bring you luck, it just gives you a taste of what the bull's horn is like. Bye! =P

PS: About my neighbour, he's not really into that guy, I'm just saying what his expression is like. =P

Living life on the edge...

Hi, I guess I still need a new intro but then I always end up with nothing. This blog will be a quick review of what I've been doing this 2 weeks.

Basically it's orientation and briefings in college, nothing much. But then, there are unique people to meet. There's one where I like to call "I-don't-you-but-don't-mess-with-my-female-friends-though-they're-not-my-girlfriends" loser. That kind of guy should be left for dead in the LOST island, he has no strategy or people skills. Every time I try to talk to his female friends, he looked at me all "Get lost, they're not yours to mix with." I plan to exclaim "Hey dude, you have a girlfriend, want me to send her a detailed report?". Yeah, weird people, that's what you get in University. Guy's with weird attitude and no strategy.

On the other hand, I actually like to say how intimidated I am when salesperson are watching me shop. I feel so intimidated that I don't even there to take up the products to give it a proper view. For one time, I would like to see funny faces from sales staff when you do your payment. So I was buying stuff the other day when my card has been rejected, the cashier looked at me all "Oh, here's a poverty douche, douche got no money". I wanted to scream like " No, I've got like so much money, I got so much money, come to my house I've got like so much money I give you some!", but all I managed was a "Blurh~", then the cashier chortled and I explain that I will get that card checked later. It's fun to see those "looks" cause scenes like these are really cringeworthy.

Other things that happen is like how I'm confused about the meaning for the acronym FTW. Most people say it actually means "For the Win" but IMO, normally the F is the 4-letter word so I agree that some people think it means " F**k the What". Both explanations are acceptable in Urban Dictionary so I guess I didn't screw this up as much as how LOL is. Thus, that's most of the things I've experienced lately. Nothing much I know but then it's the details of our mundane life that makes us chortle. Well, it's great to live life on the edge.

I'm actually blogging in the Student Affairs Office and people might think I got disciplinary issues to end up here but no, I just missed my blog so I thought of doing it while the WiFi here is great. Thanks for keeping up with me blog, wish you guys a lovely weekend. Be well, be safe, eat fruit and remember, movies with the title V are normally cool. Bye. =P

Love is Blind-ing

Hi, so apparently I have to say that couples these days aren't as conservative and old-fashioned as before. You don't need a 5-star restaurant to dine and date. All you need is place with free flow drinks. =)

I will tell you why a restaurant with free flow drinks is one of the best place to dine. 1, you save loads of money on drinks rather than buying cups of Starbucks coffee. 2, you have the reason to dine there as long as you want cause you can always say you haven't finish your drinks. 3, your lover won't mind as long as you tell her the first two reasons. XD

Well, yes, those place are best for dating but mind you, places like that will always have a constant flow of customers. As one customer leaves, the next one will take their place. I myself experienced such a thing at Ikea Restaurant last weekend. Me and my family was having half of a table due to the crowded restaurant which makes it hard to get seats. So we have no choice but to share a table with a couple.

As I've expected, this couple is the smart couple I described as above. Going all lovey dovey without bothering how it makes others feel awkward. I am okay with awkward but I can't stand it when they just don't understand how this restaurant business is going. You might say maybe they're just too busy with the cuddling, whispering and giggling but to me, there's a nice theory to explain this situation.

We always hear people say, "Love is blind.". Same goes to this, love is blinding that you can't notice what the hell is going on around you, love is blinding that you don't realize there's a toddler right next to you staring at how you snog, love is blinding that you don't know that your ex-boyfriend/girlfriend is right at the back stalking you and waiting for revenge, love is blinding that you don't know people need a spot to dine. Love is blinding, and that's the new excuse I help them come up with.

I don't know why I am helping them though I feel annoyed by this, but this seems to be the most rationale explanation. I guess maybe when I get a date, I might get to use this excuse as well. XD

Sorry guys, I know the Facebook status has already stated the gist of this post, but I really am having a writers block this week and this is the best I can come up with. Maybe next time, I will say less, and blog more. I sincerely apologize to my fellow readers that I may be blogging less frequently cause I am starting Pre-U soon. I will still allocate time to do this now and then and I hope you guys can rate my blogs so that I know how this goes on. Thanks for reading and goodbye till the next post.

Be well, be safe, eat fruit and remember, beware of ants and bugs when your love gets too sweet.
  Have fun everyone. =)

LOL

Hi, so my last blog was a little detail of my way of interpreting "goodbyes". Sometimes I know I interpret things a little too much already. Recently, I found out that I could be abusing the word "LOL".

To be honest, I knew nothing much of the history of this word/expression, "LOL". My way of seeing it, it's like you use it when you find an awkward situation coming out from someone. Let's say someone wants to tell you a secret and just at the right moment when they are about to say it, they suddenly say "Nature calls!" and then they go off a while to do whatever business you know. My natural instinct will help me reply: "LOL!"

I don't know why but that's me being funny I guess. Sometimes I use it when something isn't really that funny. Say a cold joke was shared by my friends and he said "Haha". If I don't find it funny I will reply "LOL" just to be polite cause I am speechless. Seriously, I don't know why there's an LOL in the Internet. I just use it that way. Is it right? Wrong? Correct me please cause I am clueless. Yes, I know some of you might be thinking how did I even find Google and Blogger. To be honest, I don't even know. *chortles* I'm only joking, I just don't know the real definition to LOL.

Well, what do you guys think? Is it Laugh Out Loud? Lots Of Laughter? Lots Of Love? Laughter Of Lies? I don't know, go figure. Thinking of educating myself with Urban Dictionary. Haha.

Thanks for reading. LOL will still be my new word of the day (what an epic failure I am), but at least I have the urge to learn it. Au revoir till then.

Just for the fun, LOL.

Hellos and Goodbyes

Hi. So I am the kind of person who always come up saying more hellos than goodbyes in life. Wonder why?

Story of my life, I always have to say hello first before anyone talks to me. I know that's common manners but sometimes it just feels so irritating that you're the only one who always gotta say hello and others seldom greet you first. The worse part, you're the one who have to deal with their goodbyes first. Yes, I know, I sleep late and stuff but just for once, let me just say "Sorry, I gotta go, bye.". But you know what, I think I deserve it cause I'm just being too nice. I always wait till others are about to sleep or leave or maybe you can say, I'm the one waiting for their goodbyes.

I have a funny theory which implies that the person who says goodbyes first in a conversation normally is the bad guy. Just take it as if that person is the person you want to talk to and they say goodbye and walk away. That's what I think, and I know it sounds ludicrous. Well, sometimes being the nice guy needs sacrifice and effort. But then, when I'm the one saying goodbye, I actually feel bad and people ignore it. People won't even reply as if they don't care I said goodbye. Maybe it's a good thing. Maybe they don't wanna talk to me. But why nobody want to talk to me?
I dunno people, I just think I'm like that, story of my life. Hence, I wonder how many people are guilty of this crime. You always think it's bad to be the one saying goodbye first so you wait for it. This is not a rant, it's just a documentary of my life. Lastly, I gotta say, the only place I can say a proper goodbye, is when I write a blog post. Chortles... =D

Forgive me then for saying " Goodbye, till we meet again on the next post! =)"

Sighs, I love my life. *smiles*

Creativity needs Courage...

Hi, it's been a while again. I know, this blog is filled with mundane life experiences that has been repetitively discussed over and over. To be honest, my blog is inspired by the famous Vlogger as in Video blogger on Youtube, Natalie Tran. If you guys watch her videos you guys might get the deal. Yeah, you might think it's plagiarism but hey, I'm just sharing rants and topics that are funny and random to me so please don't rate me as if I'm the one lacking creativity.
Speaking of creativity, sometimes I just have to say that humans are actually born to be creative. I'm serious. If they are not creative, why would they have wild imaginations? Children always ask us questions which we like to call "stupid questions", but if you think it in the bright side, you have to give them credit cause they took time to actually think of it. As we grow older, our creativity becomes more practical, as in how people say "not fun". Have we ever asked the question on where our "fun" creativity has went?
In my personal view, as we grow up, we tend to mature in thinking. Yes, everyone knows that, but have you realized one more thing? We start to bring in the word "shame" into our life. It's like everything that is out of logic is ridiculous, and it is a shame that we, at this age still think of it. The contradiction comes when people say, "I am inspired by this kid's funny question".
Why can't we think those by ourselves? Are we really lacking creativity compared to a child? No, it's because we worry of what others think of us. We worry people will make fun of us and think of us as ludicrously childish. We are shy to give out ideas that others think that only kids can think of. Face it, we've been kids before, we could come up with that idea ourselves, we're just not brave enough to show the idea so we take some kid as an excuse. But what if that idea turns out great? You'll be the one regretting not admitting that idea was yours and all credit goes to that imaginary "kid".
Therefore, I've came up with a conclusion that creativity needs courage as well. If you're not daring to open up your ideas, think out of the box, you'll never get something originally by you. Never let the word "ashamed","absurd" and "juvenile"" affect your creativity. Just be yourself and show them what you got cause they're the ones who don't have the guts to show their stuff or maybe they are the ones who aren't creative. Just think what you like to think, there's no age limit for creativity, the only boundary there is is actually set by yourself, it's up to you to broaden it, or narrow it.
That is my two cents, thanks for reading this. This quote is a great conclusion to my opinion. Hope this inspires at least one person out there.

we grow old because we stop playing...
